Wood Stove Placement

New here...

I have a 3' X 3' corner closet (outside corner) that I would like to locate a wood stove.
I have attached a 'not to scale' floor plan to better explain the situation.

The stove is primarily for back-up heat, so it wouldn't have to be large. I have wood floors and sheetrock walls.

I had a wood stove in my previous house and really enjoyed it.

Basically, I want to know if this space is sufficient and what would you recommend.

I think we would have to beef-up the ceiling. The hall wall is bearing.

It's the only spot I can come up with to put a stove.

We can't put it in front of the closet because it would crowd the front door entrance.

I just didn't know if the 3' x 3' space would be big enough.

Thanks for the replies. I will continue my research and hope to have something by next winter.
