I may have my priorities all wrong.... We are working with salvaged materials to build a chicken coop/blacksmith shop combo and I can't help but think that the next one like this has to be a wood shed.

We are building this unit 10 by 24 with 3 sections. The West end will house our annual crop of meat birds, the middle unit will be insulated for our laying hens and the East end will shelter the gas powered welder, forg, anvil etc.

As we work out the kinks in the design the next one will be the woodshed.

10 by 24 by 5 feet high of wood stacks....

A capacity of more than 9 cords and if one uses the height at the front of the shed it will esaily top 10 cords....

In all my spare time.

For salvage materials, it's looking mighty good.
Guys gotta have a few good egg for breakfast before cutting wood, the woodshed will get to the top of the list soon.
Looks like your "spare time" is being used up to me ;)

Great use of salvaged materials! Reminds me of mine at that stage as they are about the same size. The 3rd stall is now housing some tools, etc so I am already thinking I need to add on another section.

I built mine out of salvaged material also. Makes the finished product looked used so it blends in better with the older sheds.

nice work. I like the idea of putting the chickens inside. Better not let my wife see this one...or my chickens will be getting a new coop !
