used, about 5 yrs old.
cleaned and lubed everything, read everything I could.
here is the question, upon start up, everything progress fine,(fan comes on, auger
feeds , BUT...
ignitor probe does not get hot enough to ignite pellets,
they get Hot! but not burning. tried 4 times, no ignition,

I have a lazer temp gun, any ideas what the temp should get to?
or should I just bite the bullet and get a new ignitor?
thanks

Well, I had a Kozi 120, That one wouldn't light some brand pellets either, ( dont recall which) but try another brand.

Depends on wattage and airflow as to temp?

If the ignitor is original, maybe it needs replaced? ?
