I was told its a 2003 model but I haven't checked serial number on it. It most defiantly has auto ignition controls so maybe they were added at a later date?

It costs about $600 to add all the controls for auto ignite. I think you got even a better deal then we thought! Check all the labels and sometimes there is a date code. There is a way of telling the MFD by the serial #. It may be alot newer than a 2003. :)

eh, its a p61a, an older model, given the design of the door. MFG date is immaterial here, as OP said it has autoignition controls. Given the door design, I am certain its out of warrantee anyhow, so, date isnt all that important......you'll be doing any repairs out of warrantee anyhow.
