Does anyone know of a source for a blower that can be used with this stove, other the factory one (seems a bit pricey)??

Thanks!

I don't use a blower on my Lopi Leyden - we use a ceiling fan instead. But I have gotten lazy enough to buy a couple of the Travis/Lopi factory accessory parts. The good news is that there stuff tends to be well put together and generally well thought out.And I didn't think the parts I bought was expensive. What do they want for the blower?

Come to think of it, most any type of blower that will move air ought to work. Near as I can tell, theirs mounts down below the rear of the stove between the rear legs. And what it does from there is to simply blow air upi inside that heat shield that is already built right onto the back of the stove. Air moving that way will automatically exit into the room at a bit of a forward angle....that's just about perfect.

Alternately, the blower could even be any basic blower sitting off somewhere else and the air just piped over through some sort of duct that forces it into that same area between the heat shield and stove.
Or even just a fan just a fan sitting on the floor and blowing at the stove. Just keep it far enough away to be safe.
good luck, rScotty

I guess I'll try the ceiling fan first and see how it goes!
