I am seriously jealous of that trailer, I would love to buy a dump. Cant really justify the cost for just hauling firewood and my tractor though.

Mike, did you build a table for the splitter?

Nice set up you have. When you're not working you're working!;)
It is "
LABOR DAY"
weekend.

I bought the trailer for $3500 for my business and don't know how I operated with out it. I probably use it more for home then for the job.
Hauling landscape debris, mulch, chips and now wood, ABSOLUTELY paid for itself.

Mike, did you build a table for the splitter?
Yes it just a plywood table. It works great. I am actually thinking of trying my welding skills (none) and building a rebar style, like the one you can buy from the manufacturer

Nice score! How long are the rounds/bucked lengths? They look kinda long.

Nice wood lot and equipment. Like the others, I like the dump trailer. Had one bought at a good price and the guy backed out on me...:(
Will get one at some point....

Hey Mike thats a serious load of logs what did you eat??? lol...
Good score.

They are 24" or as close as possible. My boiler can take up to a 27" split but the splitter can only take 25" and me with a maul don't want any of that! Thank God for hydraulics!

Nice haul

Super Mike. Especially good because you could lift those logs out of the mud.

Yeah, the area they were cutting was way in the back where there was still a lot of undergrowth and wasn't anything like the mud pit you see in that picture.

that is an awesome looking load of ash

That stuff is amazingly dry. The couple pieces I split are all ready at 26% mc. Should be pretty good for this winter.

Nice load.
Great set-up.
You are a machine!

Thanks. That's actually pretty funny. The joke around my house when my family is telling me to stop and take a break is I always say " I'M A MACHINE". Have you been spying?!
