Can't swing a chainsaw from a wheelchair, and am not actually burning any more, so this is one I need some help with.

We had a medium large swamp maple come down across our circular drive a few days ago, it wasn't a fat tree, probably only 10-12" DBH, but it's pretty tall.

We also had a lot of large branches (Mostly oak) come down in the big storm last fall that I can't reach, probably some good wood in many of those as well...

If you cut it up and clean up the major debris, you can take it all.... I'm guessing at least a couple PU truck loads, or a good trailer's worth....

Contact me for more info...

If you weren't so far away I'd say I would help you out...

I wish I could come to help out Gooserider, but she'd kill me. You are just a tad bit farther than I normally go for a scrounge, too.....;)

Id go clean it up for you and add to my woodpile but my hips shot to hell, getting it replaced in a month, my scrounging's over for a while. Hopefully someone closer to you thats healthy can get it.

I'm on my way!!

update for those concerned but too far away. Went up and met Goose talked a little chainsaw talk. I was able to clear the circular driveway on my first trip and will be going back up over the next few days to finish up. Goose put me onto some seafoam to clean out my carb so far it seems to be helping but I haven't run a full tank through it.

Thanks much for the help with this...

I really ought to decide what to do with my own saws and splitter, etc. but it's a tough decision to deal with...

Two words: "Saw Raffle" . I bet you could make more money off of them thru raffle than in any other way. Wait until later this fall when everybody is back to the forum and you'd be set. We did this with a few saws over on AS and it worked really well.
