yup. impressive stacks. makes you warm just looking at them!

nice to have that concrete slab to stack them on too, eh? that way the wood can bake all summer.

great setup, great strategy.

i nominate you for the top tier wood stackers category.

Thank again everyone for the compliments.
The concrete slabs are great for stacking wood on but even better with the skid runners and brackets that i made at work.
The large one was used as a feed lot and the other on was where a grain bin set years ago. I brought in 4 more loads this week since i was on vacation so im really getting behind on splitting but thats for rainy days.
I still have no oak besides the runners but maybe ill find some soon now that i would have time for it to dry. 2012-09-07_18-32-58_278.jpg

I'm totally impressed. That's a lot of hard work. Now that you have all that wood prepped, relax a bit and shift the schedule to the cooler months of the year.

PS: I think you will notice a nice difference in the way the stove burns and the heat it gives off with good dry wood.

Woah, woah, woah. You've been a busy little beaver.

That's awesome. Incredible how stacks of split wood is a thing of beauty. :)

I like the brackets, that'll be an idea I tuck away when I build future racks for sure.
