This thing looks huge compared to my Keystone but I could actually slide it back further and have more room in front. I had the dealer do the install, sure is nice not having to move these heavy things around. I'm using Security double wall pipe with a 20" vertical rise off the stove top with slip pipe, 2ea 45 elbows, 2' horizontal run into an 18' Supaflu 6" chimney. The stove collar was smooth and didn't require an adapter. I still have to connect the OAK but here's some pictures

Todd,

The pictures are not opening up, but I am sure it looks great.

Congrats and keep us updated on how things go with the new BK.

Beauty.

Steel! Yes!

It's beautiful, Todd...just way too damned clean! ;lol

Nice Todd,
the princess is one of my favorite stoves. Looks like your security is a cleaner fit to the flue collar than the simpson we use (which requires a stove top adapter for a clean fit)

time for some break in fires, let us know how she performs :)

Congratulations Todd. Welcome to the dark side.

Aurora Kingealus. I'm a believer. I'm on my knees in front of the video.

You must have gotten a defective one. ;lol

Looks good, Todd. How hot is that room getting? I don't see flames like that unless I'm getting some pretty serious heat.

Very nice setup you got Todd ! That stove looks perfect on your hearth.

Pete

Those are the best photos of a Blaze King I have seen, yet. That stove wouldn't look bad in my walk-in fireplace. I like it without the weird skirt.

I have to say the Parlor looks nice! You know it looks better in person than in the pictures online. ;)

How close is the t-stat housing to the wall? You want to make sure it's 6 inches + or it's been said the t-stat may not work correctly due to the heat build up in the back. I have mine right at the 6 inch mark and haven't experienced any issues.

I know BK recommends more rise before the first elbow,(30 or 36?) I'm sure using the 45's will help that.

I have all the windows open and it's 59 outside, 72 inside. 4 medium sized Silver Maple splits, t-stat at 2.5 in the video. I played around with the settings and everything snuffs out and goes black under 2 and lots of flame and red hot coals at 3. Also noticed the glass edges smoked up a bit at low settings but I expected that with warmish outside temps. Cat temps got up to about 1800, stove top 580, internal flue 500.

I didn't know about that 6" rule, my t-stat sits really close to the brick wall but there is a clean out door 6" away so maybe it will work?

I did know about that 36" rise but there's no way I can get that even if I took the legs off. It seems to be drafting fine in this warmer weather so hopefully it will get even better.

The stove does look much better in person and the wife approves. ==c

Something else I just found is my cat has a 10 year warranty. Woodstock gives you 6 years.

I still think that they make a good looking stove..

Im sure your gonna love it... Looks awesome.

That Alien technology will allow those 4 Silver Maple splits to last till Thanksgiving! :) Go grab 2 more arm loads at Thanksgiving and that should be sufficient. . . . . For the rest of the season ;)

Congrats. The install really looks great.
