I just picked up a lopi leyden off of craigslist for $1500. When it was transported back to my house the firebrick in the back cracked in half :-( . Does anyone know the best and cheapest place to replace this?

I think they had a defective batch of these around 2008. I got mine changed free of charge. Might try where the guy bought the stove 1st. Does not hurt to ask!
How long is the warranty on something like that. I was briefly reading there was a 7 year limited warranty. Does that include the firebrick?

play dumb and go to a Travis dealer and see if you can get a new set. Travis is tough though....they will run the serial to see if they sold it. Would be helpful if you can find the original dealer, they may be better to work with you.
