So Scott is installing the Lopi Leyden tomorrow. Between the cost of the stove, the install and the 8 tons of GT's I will have spent around $5200. Does anyone know if CT offers any tax incentives?

Thanks,

Mike

Tax incentives in CT? Not with Malloy in office. And if we speak loud enough, maybe they'll put a tax on the pellets... seeing them as a missed opportunity. I'm just venting, not sure if there are any incentives. I tried a quick search online but didn't see anything. Try calling a local dealer, they would know best.

Here are 0% loans through chif.org for certain improvements and projects. I don't know of any tax incentives.

I would like to know also. Just installed a p68.

If they gave a tax incentive for pellet stoves, they would find another way to get it back from you in another area. Just put up a toll booth on 95. That would generate some $$$ for the state

Amen. All surrounding states are toll states!

@ the OP -- as far as I know, no tax incentives. So, focus your energy on screwing over the oil industry, I guess.

I have been doing that for the last 3 years since we installed the Freedom insert downstairs. We use less than a tank of oil (225 gals) per year, and are only using that much due to having OHW.
