Would love to see that thing all prettied up doing its job. A whole other dynamic using that beast.
 
can you say "giant saws-all"? Those reciprocating saws were short-lived devices, I bet with some blade modification and a good sharpening, that thing would quarter up a moose or caribou really nice..........
 
they were indeed used in meat packing plants, and as carpentry framing saws, but never caught on, for many reasons. Maybe a novel design in search of a need, or a solution for a problem no one had?
I had one from a garage sale. Mine had no clutch, start and it cuts. Not sure if all that way or if the clutch was seized.

90cc if I'm not mistaken......Seen a decent one on ebay go for less than $200 with original shipping carton including shipping last Spring,few months later a beat up one with parts missing was almost twice that!;lol :confused:
