Hi All... I replaced the exhaust temp sensor because the unit would not start. Now I can start the unit in Auto/Off mode with a room thermostat but when I shut the thermostat off the unit keeps running and I have to physically press the power button to shut it off. Any Idea's would be appreciated.
Thanks Andy

Hi Andy,

Are you sure its in Auto/Off? Sounds more like its in manual which bypass's the thermostat all together. Auto/Off and High/Low are the only settings effected by the stat. Also there is a delay in the off cycle on the Enviro's. It actually goes to low fire for approx 30 minutes once the stat is made. It doesn't go right to shutdown like some stoves. High/low setting. Unit should go from high(setting on display) to low(lowest heat setting) once stat is made

If your only burning in the 1 heat range. Raise it to 3 and cycle the stat(set it to below house temp). Stove should go to low if stat is working properly.

Hope it helps.

Jtakeman, Thanks a lot.... The funny thing I didn't notice this before or I just forgot about it. But that's what happens 30mins low burn cycle before the shut down cycle. All is good!! Thanks again Andy
