Its all from the farm rotti..the walkway to the front door was done by Leo 40 years ago but grew over..we scraped that off and will be re-doing the cracks with silica sand.

Man, I love that stonework. Nothing says country like stonework. I love to do stonework, been doing it on my house for several years. I plan on making a walkway just like that one. How thick are the stones, did you use a substrate or just right on the dirt?

Fantastic job, my hats off to you guys! Keep the pics coming!

Nice! I love to work with stone.

Thanks again gang

Me and Emma are always game for a road trip Hollow ;)

Scotty they are all pretty much 4in and there is gravel being laid first then a skim of cement,we went up another step the other nite and i guess we will be coming off the driveway about 5 ft with packed gravel as we talked about tractors or cars or whatever? driving over the steps and ruining them..

Will be back at it this weekend :)

Very nice work!!... Nice old house, beautiful stonework.

Your buddy is lucky to have such good and helpful friends. We got quotes this year to put in a a brick walk and patio for our old place and I about passed out at the prices... hardscaping is expensive!
