I finally started burning this last week. We have had temps at night in the 20's...so I fired it up and she burned great .. Somerset pellets help too..

House is still holding at 68-70 degrees without heat. Probably another week or so till I start.

I cleaned my stove this week and fired it up last night, after a cold night of fishing.. felt wonderful

couple of cold nights...rainy cold clammy outside fired er up take out the chill...

It takes a couple of nights in a row that reach the mid to low thirties before I need to do anything to keep the the bosses happy. I hope to have that low to mid thirties down to the low to mid twenties shortly.

Woke up this morning to the wife running the furnace. So I finally caved oak or no oak hooked up yet. I plugged it in and ran it for 45 mins. :(
Summers officially over now.
I am still burning some pellets from last year I forgot to pull out of the hopper. The were still firm and hard to break so they should still produce heat.
Nice pretty flame for old pellets.

Been burning since 9-26, some days only 3-4 lbs, thermostat knows best.

Ran the stove in the cellar this weekend, kept the house right around 68

Fired up the house stove last week to take chill off. Completely cleaned and prepped yesterday and did a test burn this morning. Sweet! Amazing how much crap I pulled out of the exterior fan blower unit!. Sitting on six tons and if I am cold, I just burn 'em. That's why I bought 'em. Will clean and fire the twin sister on Friday. Got the Chimney Man coming Friday so will be 100% ready for the Brrrrrrr.... Bring it on!
