Chimney estimate.....UGH!

Well, the guys got here today and checked everything out and the grand total for everything is...2300.00.... I am so discouraged....makes me second guess the thought of a wood stove and more toward a pellet stove, but the wife wont hear of it....going to take some extra time to afford that much

I was quoted around the same price today for a through the wall installation with 15' of Duratech chimney pipe. What is your setup/

Sounds like a fairly easy install. If you're fairly handy doing the work yourself should be easy and save you a bundle.

That is pretty much exactly what mine will be.

My dad and I did a very similar setup on my house. My chimney was a little taller. The hardest/longest part was getting through the concrete blocks but not a hard job at all, just took a little patience.
