Lintel is just under 29 inches, couldn't help myself, had to measure !!

Ouch. Same height as the flue collar with the six inch legs. Easy to see why the installer says it won't work. I had 32" and it was tight to work in there.

Thank you all for your suggestions and help. Totally my fault. I wanted an Englander badly to see if it lived up to the hype. Just much easier to go with a different stove. If I choose to go freestanding in a few years, then its going to be an Englander. Wish me luck with the Regency I3100. I did read some good reviews. My Napoleon 1402 was fine, it did eat a good amount of wood. Just looking for a little more heat for the wife over the winter.

What is the construction of the fireplace floor? If solid concrete another option may be to bore 4 leg holes into the concrete 2" deep.

... and he could carry the stove to the woodpile for each reload, instead of the other way around!

Very informative video. Looks like I did not follow the manufactures recommended break-in procedure.
What is the best way to get my stove up on the roof?;)

Apparently, a forklift. If it doesn't quite reach, you can stack some pallets on the tines. 'Cause that's safe.

Its not very strong there was no airplane drop followed by an anvil tied to it ! ;lol

Why can't you just return the stove to the store?
