New to this site,,, very good people and good answers here.. I am in need of some replacement firebrick,,, size is 1.25X4.5X13.5.. These are the bricks that stand verticle in the back.. The ones that lay flat on the floor are 9 " in length.. I could cut some and hope they stay, with cement, but would rather put in one solid brick.. Any ideas for these longer bricks? This is a great sit, thanks in advance.. 13/14 wood already done.. rasp21.

Welcome, what stove is this? Have you tried the stove dealer?

This is a Country Comfort,, 1992 model,,, stove is in really good shape,, just 2 cracked brick that I want to replace, and then the stove os perfect shape,, didn't know that there were non regular size bricks in it, ,rasp.

That's an unusual brick size. I didn't come up with any after searching my normal places. I suppose you could cast your own.

You could try a stone and tile shop to see if they could cut one to size if you buy a big enough brick. There is also a dealer in my area who does brick work maybe they can cut one for you too. I will pm you the name and number.
