Local pellet company, but really anywhere I can find a good pellet priced right!

Just received 3 ton of MWP Softies from Wood Pellet Warehouse this afternoon. Great service and prices!

HD, Lowe's, Tractor Supply and Sam's Club

HD currently.

whoever has the better pellets locally

Im cheap. But I still prefer indoor storage.

Regardless of what the Pellet Manufacturer does.

They can sit ouside at the Manufacturer for 2 months. Then sit inside for 4 months at the dealer/retailer. Or they can sit outside for 6 months between the two?

I shop price and brand. Mostly box stores. But like stocks, you buy 'em low and BURN 'em high! :)

(If your pellets are factory wrapped on the pallet and you secure a tarp over/around them, I stored two tons of Barefoots for two years outside and had NO issue.)

Anywhere, I can get a decent burning pellet for a fair price, including that TSC in your photo. Bought two tons there in July. Only indoor storage I've seen is 1 lumber yard, HD and Lowes. Not many pellet sellers here.

Menard's had them outside this year, In my first three tons I ended up returning four bags due to wet pellets (Will most likely find more as I open them). On my second trip, I noticed some pellets stored under cover and made the loader get the 3 tons from under the covered area.
Not completely happy, but the price was right!;)

Where do you think the pellet manufacturers (for the most part) store the pellets?

I get mine from SIBS (Wood Pellet Warehouse) too!
I have to tell my one and only experience with SIBS was not a good one.

Going to Fleet Farm tomorrow for another ton for 170. Usually Menards on sales for 3.50 bag +- for Indecks.(last year) Got burnt but only on a couple bags buying at Walmart as the pellets were hitting 3 inch long.
News report tonight saying heating cost for this winter to be way up, close to 20 percent for fuel oil, 13 percent for propane. Not me

Hard to please everyone. You are the only one I have heard that from, except for a pre-mature post from last year. If you're not happy though, let Steve know so he can at least try to make it right.
You are quite right. It is hard to please everyone. And as I am only one person with an issue, my troubles would appear to be an aberration.
