I have the oppertunity to purchase a BK Dutchess used, but in good condition. Can anyone tell me a bit about this stove? I can't find anything on the BK website about it. I'm guessing it is a discontinued model. Are the combustors all the same size and will I be able to get a new parts for this model?

If you do a google search for Blaze King Dutchess, you will find some listings for glass and gasket, and reference to the Omni tests. Call Blaze King, they can help you.

Since nobody here ever heard of it, I would probably pass. Google doesn't turn up much at all. If you needed any parts, you would probably be SOL. Unless, of course, it really is a Princess.

Don't hesitate to call BK. Any time I have ever called has been pleasant.

Can you get us a picture of the stove? that may help

I realize that this is an old thread but I wanted to add a little more info to it which may be useful to others. We purchased a cabin back in 2008 which also had a BK Dutchess stove in it. As mentioned, getting information about this stove was a real challenge. Speaking with Chris at BK helped and I wanted to share the info I was able to get assembled from this research:

  • The model number is C110. This was a limited production catalytic unit.
  • Parts are limited as production was stopped some time ago. There are no parts drawings for the unit.
  • BK acquired another company who manufactured this unit and it was part of their lineup at the time.
  • The Dutchess lacks the thermostatic control of which BK's other models are known for.
  • There is a label on the back of the unit which provides the model and serial number as well as the production date. Mine was produced in October, 2002.
  • I do have a User Manual for this stove but it only provides very basic user info.
Here is a photo of my BK Dutchess...
