Hey guys, typing this on my phone so excuse the typos and shortness of the post. I got my Fireview in place and I need about 62" of new single wall pipe. Is homedepot pipe acceptable or should I go elsewhere?

Home depot pipe will work fine. There are better grades available, but that will work.

Be sure to secure each joint with 3 screws. I used self tappers.

You probably already know this but be sure it is black flue pipe and not lightweight galvanized duct pipe. If Home Depot doesn't have it, try your local True Value or Ace Hardware store.

Or go to Red Hill General Store on line, they have 22 gauge as well as 24 gauge.

Do you have a menards near you ? They have an amazing price on stove price compared to everyone else.

No, we don't have a menards in our area. Homedepot in my area doesn't carry black stove pipe anymore because they don't sell enough. I'm having an issue already though, I can't seem to get any 6" connector into the fireview's flue collar. Do I need a sleeve to go over the collar then attach my pipe to that?

That pipe should just slip right into the stove with no problem.

Do you have the pipe with a seam on the back side of it ? If so you need an adapter from the pipe to the stove connection. That is a fairly common issue with single wall pipe.

I went and bought an elbow and got everything installed, thanks guys! Did my first kindling fire, on the second small fire now. I'm letting that one burn down and we are going out for a bite to eat and a couple beers, when I get home I will light the third and final break in fire and engage the cat..... I can't wait! Man it stinks in here right now, paint and cement curing!!! ;sick
