Found a few limbs at a tree dump that were begging to come home with me. Can you help me out?

I was thinking the one on the left was an ash..no clue on the right one.

Thanks. scrounge wood.jpg

Hard to tell from the pics
Either way it's BTUs.
Nice score

I can't tell what the logs in front are but the ones in back look like ash.

The one on the left is the same as the ones on the truck bed. Could the right one be a maple of sorts?

I agree with steeltown. Definitely ash on the left, and I suspect hickory on the right.....

Possibly young Red Oak or Honey Locust limb on the right.

Not positive on the right but the rest are plainly ash.

Scaly bark hickry.

ASH in the truck bed the log on the right looks like some kinda young pine..

Since you helped me figure out what I cut down, can you give me a few hints in improving my wood cutting skills. Even with help it took us a long time.
