Keep getting an auger jam error. Took out auger, cleaned out pellets and vacuumed out. I found the sensor eye, but was unable to loosen the screws holding it in place. I tried to blow any dust that might be on it. I blew out the vacuum hose that is on the drop tube.

The auger will start out moving clockwise and then changes direction and then indicates the error and shuts down.

Is the anything else I should check before ordering a new auger?

Thanks

check your voltage at the computer and invertor. Might be a larger problem than you think. Had the same thing and found the computer was sending out 6-8 volts instead of the 15 needed to turn the auger.

Could you give me some instruction on doing this. Thanks

I gave the stove a good cleaning and so far fixd the error. I am ashamed to admit that I neglected the cleaning on it for a bit too long.

With this in mind, why would this cause an auger jam error? What sensor was being set off to casue the error.

Thanks
