Tonight was the first time since I got my P43 that it got wound up, and all I can say is holy hot! I had an issue with the igniter to start, and I ended up with a pile of pellets pouring out of the pot, which is entirely a different issue. I backed it down and let it catch up, then I wondered if I had an airflow issue. Nope. I cranked it up to 5 on the feed adjuster and 85 on temp. I am still in shock at the heat that poured out of thing, all the time with the pellets staying 1 inch from the end of the pot. I never thought I would say this, but... Bring on the cold, because I am sweating currently!

My daughter has the P43 cranking already...I thought it funny that she's got the heat on & I was riding the Ultra home from bowling. Then I got into the house & Susan had the P61A ripping...Temps are in the mid 30s here...

Still riding. Gonna ride to work today in fact. I am also the Patriot Guard Riders Lead Ride Captain for a combination Leatherstocking Honor Flight/Patriot Flight this Saturday at Oh-Dark-Thirty. I'll keep it in the garage & on the Battery Tender throughout the winter, just in case there's a chance to ride. Once the salt hits the roads tho, that's pretty much the end for me...

It has not been too cold here yet, but I have yet to turn on my heater. We had a wood stove and I have yet to miss the mess, and the constant babysitting. It was 80 in the house last night, and my wife thought it was perfect. That is too hot!:)

Kherr,
Congrats on the new P43, we just got one last weekend and think it is going to be a great stove!

Maniac,
Its Harman, not Harmon! ;lol and we've been keeping ours on 75 so far too, my wife's favorite temperature ;)

Same with me...I will ride until the salt goes down, then I am done! Got a new 2013 Ultra Limited Thursday, and am hoping to get a few miles on it before I put it away. I belong to the PGR as well! Have only fired up the P43 for 2 nights so far though.
