Hello all, hoping for some guidance.
Spent last evening attempting to replace the ignitor on a Kozi 100 Pellet Stove. That thing is stuck and stuck good.
We could not get the brass bushing on the old ignitor to budge from the housing.Twisting, prying, heating, and cursing did not help us at all. I have the housing loose on the firebox side but the ignitor bushing keeps the housing from sliding into the firebox
I imagine I could disassemble the exhaust channel to gain better access (convection fan is already remove), but I really don't see why we should have to essentially disassemble and rebuild the unit for a simple ignitor swap.
The other option I come up with, is cutting the housing and stuck ignitor off inside the firebox so the housing comes out the front and ignitor out the back and replacing the housing from Kozi. Again this seems like extreme overkill for an ingnitor.
