Just got back in from our churches hayride, and built a little fire to take the chill off. Going nice after 5 minutes.

Started it with a quarter of a supercedar that I got as a free sample, and some pine kindling. The some small dry oak spits.
 
Sounds like a nice way to spend the afternoon. We did something similar for a local covered bridge festival last week.
 
That looks like a nice setting mudbug250. I can smell the wood burning now. ;emAnd the cold beer in my hand.

First read the title of this post and half expected to see a hay wagon on fire.

Nothing like the sound of a crackling open fire. That has 'cozy' written all over it!
