After wasting a good part of my morning trying to locate one withing driving distance I gave up and ordered one from HarborFreight.

Sherwin-Williams supposedly carries them.
I say supposedly because I called 7 of them and 6 of them said they usually carry them but they are out of stock (how the hell do 6 stores all have NONE on the shelf????) and one store said they dont stock them and most other stores dont either %-P

I have some pieces from the same pile of similar sizes and some are hissing and some arent.
It did rain pretty hard recently and part of the pile came uncovered.

I have the harbor frieght cheapo moisture meter... it works.

generally the odd log that tests "moist" among a batch of nice dry logs... is much heavier.

so now I've learned that weight is a good flag to break out the tester as confirmation.
