No one came here. Figured as much though... 20* and 50mph winds... they'd have to REALLY want candy to be outside in that!
Did have some kids show up last Friday? I gave them bags of microwave popcorn since I hadn't bought candy yet.

OMV our Halloween has been postponed till saturday due to the crappy weather....Will you still have them then ? And,are they Somersets ?i was giving out bags of pellets

one year my mom took us out and forgot to leave the candy out. people kept coming to the door my dad couldnt find the candy and was handing out dollar bills.He said he never made it back to the couch the doorbell kept ringing non stop. he figured out the same people kept coming back and shut the porch light off
I've donated dollar bills before... Sometimes more if she's good....

Guess I should have went north for Halloween, our gov. postponed ours until Monday by executive order because of Sandy.

Around here handing out dollars would prolly be cheaper than a pouch of pellets. 40lb bag of pellets runs around $6-7. Don't know of anyone that uses them to heat... Wallmart/Lowe's, etc just has a pallet or two in their stores "just because"... same that they sell trees that are for Florida and air conditioners I guess.

I was there. I was staring in your back window taking pictures that night! I finally got them all uploaded onto YouTube. Wow, am I getting the hits.
dude that isnt even funny, my backyard surveillance camera ( deer cam ) stopped working that night! you could of cleaned me out! just got it back online

Yea, I took the batteries out! I actually thought of getting one of those as a surveillance camera too. Even to go as far as to relay it into the house with a buzzer or other alarm. There's probably an output somewhere to get a signal.

That's awesome! That's a whole lot of sausage and jerky on the hoof. I bet Smokey would be awfully tough though. No need to cut out the scent glands though.

Sorry, I forgot I was supposed to go raid OMV, what can I say I was thirsty, now where are the munchies.
The costume maker is goofing off so it will be a bit before the bear suits are ready, she said something about we all had rocks in our heads, so I asked if she could make us some rock costumes that should fool OMV's fancy surveillance system.
