Hello.

I would remove the combustion fan during the summer's cleaning but my tools are metrics (Poor froggy :D ).

What allen wrench do I need, to remove fan's screew ? 5/32 or 9/64 ?

Thank you.

Uhhhhhh? I dunno! Is it in the manual or can you cann the manufacturer?

Go to a hardware store and buy a standard (SAE) and metric set of Allen wrenches. They come as individual wrenches and also in a self contained set similar to a Swiss army knife. The former will likely be cheaper . They're basic tools that you should have in your tool kit anyway.

Edit- I missed that you stated you had the metrics already. You know what to do......unless SAE is hard to find in Europe, then you may need to special order them.

 I need glasses !

Well, I'll try torx, wenesday...

Thank you.

Just the right size hex wrench will work in a Torx screw, but the Torx bit is preferred. I use the hex wrench on mine, and it works fine, even takes a lot of torque without stripping.

Thanks a lot.

My 3 mm wrench didn't work, so I think it's not a 1/8" (3,175 mm) hex screw in my '10 Accentra.

But stove works -slowly- since yesterday evening (7h45 am, here), so...

Au revoir.

Hello.

Quick cleaning, today, and I had a look to the combustion fan. It's an hex headless screw, not a Torx...

I will order SAE Allen wrenches.

Au revoir.
