Here is a pictorial thread of my first pellet stove build. Thank you to all who answered the many questions and assisted with great advice and tips.

Hello

Very nice hearth, where did you get it?

Nice job, especially on the siding. J channel looks great.

+1. Nice! Did you spray paint your vent pipe?

Looks great.......enjoy the heat!

BTW, is there a good surge protector on that power cord?

Yes reduce that first number and quit yer complaining you'll soon enough discover that level 1 won't work as well when the temperature drops another 10 degrees.

Yup, stove is off and still sitting comfortable at 74. Temp reached 78 before turning things off though.

If I need to turn things back on I'll try 3-4-1 to see how that works out.

Nice install,.. congrats..

mines set at 3-2-1 ,.. outside temps are 20's at night,.. 30's day,.. and shes working perfect.

nice! i love seeing one of my stoves in such a nice install. everything looks "by the book" to me scanning the pics.

as for the temps, before adjusting we need to see what the base feed rate is, when you get a chance weigh out a known quantity of pellets and time the run with just those weighed pellets in the hopper start timing when the stove is turned on and stop the clock when the last pellets come out to the fire. do not count shutdown time. post your weight for the run and the time needed to burn them on heat range 1, i will do the math and advise what to set the presets on.

Sounds Good. I'll take a measurement tomorrow and report back. Thanks Mike
