2 weeks old and all the sudden i can not keep a steady flame. With burn rate on any number the flame almost completely goes out before auger kicks in and feeds pellets. Not sure why or what to do?

What feed rate do you have set? If not 4 put it there. What mode are you attempting to run in?

Sounds like it just wants to maintain fire and not heat.

Maybe your on auto mode room temp and your getting close to room temp? Just my .02

Figured out it was the extended hopper. Not sure why it is not making good enough contact to maintain feed rate but once i removed it she is burning like crazy. Thanks for the comments. Now to figure out whats wrong wit the ext hopper!

P68 with an extended hopper? Someone's not screwing around ;)

Glad you figured out the problem.

Not sure how that extended hopper is rigged but I bet you're 50¢ worth of weather stripping away from fixing it.

Hopper lid switch perhaps or the seal was so bad bad between things that the vacuum switch wasn't staying closed, or there was bridging taking place due to the pellet load above the pellet drop gate at the bottom of the hopper.

make sure the swell latches catch well and that the extension is sealing to the top of the hopper.

use a couple sheet metal screws to secure it.

I have not removed my primary hopper lid, yet. This should be the second season for this stove setup.
