after 9 years I of operating it is time to replace the cat... ordered a new one from FireCat and now I can't seem to get the old cat to slide out of there.... it comes forward about 1/4" and then stops... I am wondering if it's ok if I break it apart to get it out ???????

ok... I got it...patience............ LOL............ the older I get............................................... *shakes head, rolls eyes*

I just busted it up and dug it out. Everything you need comes with the replacement. Just have to be careful of the little sheet metal pieces that keep the bypass damper in place.

yeah when those metal pieces came out I worried about where they went until i figured out what they were... it slid right in.... fired back and heating
