Can anyone tell me who makes this old stove please

Hey guys I stumbled on this site yesterday while trying to research replacing my current insert. What a great site with lots of knowledgable people. So this is what I know about the stove so far, it was installed in my grandparents house that I recently purchased. It says hatteras on the front and let me tell you what a dead end that has been. I assume that if that is the brand they have vanished from earth or that it is a model for a brand I have not yet been able to idetify. The stove is set in a brick and mortar fireplace and chimney. It was installed sometime in the mid to late 70s when my grandfather built the house. The stove is in great condition but from what I have read on here I want to update to something EPA compliment and more efficient. It also has a dimmer style dial switch with a blower on it

So here are the questions,

1. Who makes it and is it a good stove? (Grandpa wasn't one to cheap out)

2. Is the current chimney setup sufficient with the way it is built? Pictures to come of that

3. It is great condition even though my wife takes bad pictures so would it be worth any money and if so roughly how much? ( to try and either trade or recoup some initial purchase cost)

Nice I found some guy in Ohio some where selling one but the listing was a couple years old any suggestions on where I could get parts for it. It is a tank my dad said it took 5 guys to get it in the house. This is my first season with it and I have only had 2 smaller burns in it def going to be some trial and error until I get it figured out
