Just had to show off three of my favorite pictures I have. These are of my wife, my son, and of course our dog, Lacey. Today has been a week since I had to put her down. It's still an open wound but I just had to show her off, she brought so much joy and a few lessons about life for the 3.5 years she was here with us.

So sorry.....

Sorry to hear about Lacey

Condolences, Burnagain. I know how badly it hurts to lose a four-legged friend. I've had to do it too many times...

It's hard to imagine how "just a dog" can have such an affect on a person and family. I dread the day.....
Glad you have some good pics to remember her with.

Sorry for your loss. Time for another friend to keep up her tradition.

Sorry burnagain, that you had to lose Lacey. My dogs have always been my best friends and when I lose one it just about more than I can take. Not sure I have every gotten over any of them.

So sorry for your loss. Our canine companions are family. We have a sign in our family room that sez "Dogs are really kids with fur." Time will heal the hurt of the loss. remember the good times.....................Take solace knowing that you did your best for the time that Lacey was with you.

Keep her in your memories, burnagain, and she'll never really be gone.
Like Daksy and I'm sure others, we've had to let quite a few go. We'll have to do that for our Newfie soon.

I have buried several out on the family property. I will never forget any of them. That is a good thing. Nothing wrong with that.

Nice looking dog Burnagain. 3.5 years is not long enough. they offer solace, companionship, joy and are completely non-judgmental. Unless they don't like someone! Sympathies your way.
