Cleaning up an area where I need to do some ditching on the family's property. I installed a culvert and was standing on it when I took the one picture where you see the area I will be re-ditching. At the bottom of the picture you can see where the ditching was started, that is the low end of the culvert. We have some spots on the property that are filling in and need to be cleaned out so the water will go to where we want it to again. While doing some trail work I will be getting a lot of the low spots to drain to these ditches. I have managed to get two of these truck loads out in the last two mornings. Taking me a while because after I load the truck I am cleaning up the branches and piling them so I can go in with the Kubota and work on the drainage. And one picture looking out over the main pond with some of the woods in the background. The pond is icing over now and we had a very little snow the other day. It is starting to come down pretty good here right now. Suppose to be colder tonight, down to 12. And then over fifty a few days from now! What the ......?

The large standing dead is partly alive and partly dead. It is a willow tree. I will probably just wait until it falls on it's own.
