has anyone heard of "wood pellets" (that is the brands name )

I have already burned a ton of these pellets. last spring and early this fall. I did not have any problems, compared to what im burning now. (armstrong) The auger makes a lot more noise,so i assume more fines and pellets that are too long.

all said in jest, Razor! I dont think they are any better or worse than any other premium pellet out there.
Ive seen many pellet co's not list their specs on the bag, since it constantly changes. Salt content, etc. I know you can contact the companys and get recent analyses of their product, the reason for posting the name and addy above. I dont consider it a red flag.

I just checked the wood pellet co. bags I bought last summer and they listed no specs. But at least they said from hardwood products, unlike the current brand im burning now just say low ash, made from wood byproducts. harry says, burn em, and burn em I will.

So long as you stick with what works, Razor, I think you'll be fine. Pellets are like fast food.....one guy likes McDonalds, swears it kicks but, while another guy swears Burger King is absolutely the best...he wouldnt consider McDonalds! Fact is, both places will make you fat and arent good for you, its just your percieved opinion. Same with pellets. Most Premium pellets will burn fine, not a whole lot of difference between hard-softwoods either, far as I can tell. Yea, some seem to burn better than others, some leave less "soot", etc, but they all seem to provide roughly the same heat, and their lab analyses are quite similar.
Before I bought my stove, I priced 2 different dealers. One said they sold pellets to theyre customers w/o mentioning any brand.The other dealer sold only softwood pellets.(during the shortage) I do agree, a wood pellet is a wood pellet. I want to stick with what works for me. By the way, I love my living room being 80 deg.
