Brand new to this forum and am thankful for all the information on here. I moved into my home last year and learned quickly that I would need a wood stove insert after $500+ electric bills. A co-worker was kind of enough to give me an old one that he had taken out of his house, and it was free. I cleaned it up and repainted it. Used it last winter and worked pretty well. Would like to know what kind it is though. No brand or label anywhere on it. It works fairly well on my 2200 sq ft home. Also looking for information on how to better transfer heat from living room to the bedrooms down the hallway. I currently just have a fan pushing air over the top and into the hallway. Living room get pretty warm and so does the hallway (Thermostat currently reads 80 degrees in the hallway) but gets significantly cooler down the hallway and in the rooms. Any help would be appreciated.
