Feeling the Heat

I like leaving the door open to get that nice radiant heat the poor dog who lives in front of the stove hate it when those sparks pop out onto his fur.

Anybody know of a source for a screen that clips onto the door opening ?

I don't think you are supposed to run the 30NC with the door open. Even if you can all heat will be going up the chimney won't it? When my Englander 30's door is open and a fire is going it's nothing short of a giant bonfire.

x100 to above. This sucker has a big glass window and you don't need a screen IMO. I do not think one exists, but just to be sure, check their website.

Your kidding right about having sparks coming out onto the dog!
A screen ok, no screen bad. It could take 6+ hours for an hidden ember to light up your whole house.
