10CPM hopper lid won't seal

I think my air wash plate is installed properly, but I'm not positive. I've got the two little tabs sitting in the little holes at the front of the burn pot. I do get a fair amount of ash piled up on the lip of the window gasket on the door. Don't know if that's normal.

Sounds right. Yep, I get the same ash buildup.....normal.

One last thing....if the hopper lid is really bent, contact Englander....I bet they will send you a new one. Might have to take a pic of it to send them with a straightedge or something like that along the front edge. They are really good at warranty stuff.

I plan on giving them a call tomorrow. They have been great with everything so far. I'm thrilled with the stove considering the price I got it for from AMFM.
 
Just remember.....this is their busiest time of year, with everyone getting their stoves up and running. Might have to sit on hold for a while. Or you could send Mike H. an email:
