I have natural stone around my fireplace is there a way to Mortar in the surround where the surround meets the uneven stone? I would rather not grind the stone in case I sell the house and remove the insert but the gaps will drive me crazy.. The peak of the arch is 28.5 inches I believe the Clydesdale surround is 30 inches high
