I got these things in there now and that thing is roasting. Granted its on high and eating pellets but its hot
One thing i have noticed is out of any pellet i have burned so far GS has always given me the longest run time per hopper full. So i think that pretty much says the feed rate may need a little bump if you want heat out of these things. These are last years pellets for the record.

How's the ash?

JFTR....I've NEVER had a problem with the heat, just the ridiculous amount of ash for $250/Ton. Probably worse than MC.

C'mon let me have some fun at your expense.....JFTR, I've never seen the GS for $250/ton. NEWP, however, yes. But we both know they are the same pellet.

You guys a ways away from the plant get good prices on NEWP products. I've only seen FU's at the closest HD. All the local places, and by local I mean literally 5 min from the plant, are in the $250 range. Best bang for the buck for me is TSC with MWP early in the season for around 2 bills.

I haven't really logged in in about a week and I happened to log in 4 minutes after yer post. Lol. Had a feeling there were NEWP schnannigans going on!

Wow, didn't realize that. I have some MWP here as well...saving them for now.

A WEEK????

Ya, I know..sad. I've been doin a little x-mas shopping and fartin around with my chainsaws. The warm weather has kept me out of the pellet stove zone as well, which isn't a bad thing. My stash still looks strong :)

Gone back to trebios here. Gonna use the okies for sweeping the floor

Chainsaws ?? Now we're talking ;) What ya runnin? You burn wood too? :) Nothing wrong with puttin that in your Sig..

I didn't mind the GS's. They burned pretty clean. Smelled funny. But heat was pretty low.

Just burning pellets, and oil for DHW. I wish I had a spot for a wood stove.

Got a few orange saws. A 340, 359 and a 372XP. The 340 was an x-mas gift from my bro in 1998. Good little inexpensive saw. The 359 I picked up in 06. Recently MM'd it. The 372 I bought recently after too many trips to the local lawn and garden shop. Why do they put those things first thing through the door where you have to look at em? ;) You know how that goes.

Not a logger, just tuning up my lot and helping family and friends out. It's fun as long as it ain't 90 degrees out. I barter or give away my trees. Kinda sux cause it'd be all free heat for me.

You have some nice saws! That 460 is a beast!

Saw's,... what are you guys talking about ????

But my real saw is a Husky 51

Yeah. The MS-460 is a MONSTER (have dual port Muffler and tuned) but that 372XP you have would be very welcome in my Stable ;) The 372XP is a fantastic Pro Saw.

Shaw520, those run? Classics.

Back on topic;,.. I really have nothing bad to say about Green Supreme except slightly less heat,...my experience has been very consistent burning,..low ash,. great price!

Dont know yet,.. just found them in a clean-out,... the little one turns over with decent compression,... the BullDog seems seized.
