I apologize that this new thread is not really pellet stove related exactly, but I know a lot of you have back up generators that you use to power your stoves while in an outage. The following 3 recalls have just been issues within the last few weeks. So anybody that recently went out and bought a generator this past summer before Hurricane Sandy hit, might end up having one of these. They are as follows:

Honda EU2000i

Powermate SX5500

Champion Model 41332 (6500 watts, 8250 watss), Model 41532 (7000 watts, 9000 watts)

Not a problem. I know the Honda Companion EU2000i are pretty popular around these parts since they are an inverter generator. Hope not too many of the people here own one of the ones involved in the recall. Not a big deal, but just a pain in the butt to deal with.

Thanks for the post I don't have a generator ,but have been looking at the Honda. It's just nice to know that this forum is full of some great people that have each others backs.:)

THANKS !!! Brother bought one before the storm......

I have an eu2000i, actually I have 3 of them and two of the companion variety. The fuel line chafes in some of them on a clip, the line leaks and there you have it. Open the unit up, check the fuel lines thoroughly, you will see the problem if it applies to you, move the clip and all is well. Best damned portable generator made.
