Times like this don't happen every day. Carpe diem!

we were talking about that this morning, i guess this will be the last time the D/M/Y will match up that way in our lifetimes (unless we live well past 100 years old) next time would be 1/1/2101

Don't worry . . . I'm sure they'll work out those bugs in the whole time travel thing in a few years and we all can enjoy 1-1-1 as well as 12-12-12.

I figure I enjoyed 12 years of matching dates. That oughta give me some bragging rights over the kids. ;)

Matching dates, mayan calendars predicting the end of the world - maybe I should be worrying about the zombie apocalypse too!

Wishing all you humbugs pees on earth. :p

And all the rest, peas on earth.

My oldest was due to be born on 08/05/08. I tried convincing him and his mother to just hold out a few more days to make it to 08/08/08. No luck.

Second child was my next chance, his due date was 10/08/10. Same thing, tried convincing them to hold off till 10/10/10, but no dice.

Considering the oldest came into this world at 10lbs 3oz, and the second at 9lbs 15oz, I guess I see why they didn't want to follow my plans.

Wow, big babies. Our sons were big too. Hard on the little lady it was.

Hard to watch for me, can't believe the lady pulled it off! Will always be very proud of her.

When #1 was born, the nurse put the boy on the incubator table and started laughing. I, being a nervous father asked her what there was to laugh about after all that labor! She gestured to have me come over as she put the diaper on him. Apparently they only stock "newborn" size in there, her only comment was "that's the only one of those he's going to see" as she fought to make it fit. I was confused until they put him on a scale.

Yeah those didn't last long with my son either. He was 8lbs 15oz. coming from my 120lb wife.
