So did you guys ever come up with a cheapy for this? Sure would be nice a kick a little more air through there too. Just replaced my mom's and mine was already loud. Took it out tonight, cleaned it well, oiled, still a little growly so a matter of time I guess. Been 7 years, can't complain.

$79.99 direct replacement but you have to mount it into the box and do some wiring but its better than $169 for the same thing in the box

Oops.. :( I thought the Classic Bay used the same blower :( Only the insert model uses this one... My freestanding uses a blower of its own?..?.?? :( Oh well...

I got ya, I'm a little slow! So Dex, what one are you talking about? I know both the free standing and insert use the same for the Castile.

I thought the freestanding Classic Bay (my stove) used the same convection blower. But only the Classic Bay insert uses the same blower as your stove. My freestanding unit has its very own.

Sorry. I subscribed thinking I would be able to use this blower. When, in fact, I cant :(

I got ya. So Scott, you mentioned wiring? What up with that?

4 wires. set for each blower?

Looks like it's a two pronged power cord and a separate ground wire. That's what one of the commentors said. Why not just replace the bearings of what you have now? And then post the bearing numbers for all to see. A sticky with such information for various motors and brands would be a great resource!

All right, here's the deal. My spare went in my mom's stove, my got taken apart and oiled, and put back in. It is quieter, but not much. So I'm going to let it run for now. But, I may order one of the above just in case, the wiring can't be too bad. Then I'll take the other one apart and get bearing numbers.

I finally got around to ordering Scott's fan above, I will keep you posted on the install.

Subscribed... This is going to be awesome,!!!

Get to work Czech, I'm watching you

Got forbid I'm messing with wires, that is always interesting in the Cz household! If the lights dim out your way, don't blame me. Says 3-5 days for delivery, may want to fuel up the generator in that time.

Just remember Quads use variable speed motors, they cost more.
