Ok so last night with the stove just bearly idiling I now hear the Auger turning and dont think Ive ever heard it before is this Normal ? And if so maybe didnt notice it on higher settings ! Thanks for your input
On my stove, the auger noise is more noticable when the stove is running very low. I've found that removing the fines box cover and cleaning out the fines & chips keeps it quiet.
 
Make sure there is no carbon buildup in the auger tube.
