I am looking for a zero clearance fireplace to put in a new home. I have been looking at Acucraft and Napolean. Does anyone have any experience with these? Are there others you would recommend that I look at.
Thanks,
Cougarman

Heat N' Glo North Star (already mentioned) or Fireplace Xtrordinair's models.

Look at BIS (by Security), Lennox, & Kozy Heat. Also there is a Supreme brand out of Canada -- largest firebox I have found in a ZC.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that Supreme has only a 3.0 cf firebox according to their website, which definitely isn't the largest ZC out there... FPX's Model 36-Elite (& the yet-to-be-released Model 36-CVT) has a 3.7 cf firebox, & their Model 44-Elite has a 4.3 cf firebox (who knows? maybe there's one with an even larger firebox than that out there!). :)

Mt Ski Bum --

"...largest firebox I have found in a ZC."

Now I have found a couple larger...

Actually I could have elaborated a little more -- "...largest firebox I have found in a ZC that will fix my present opening."

But good to know...thx!

Cougarman- what did you end up going with and how do you like it? I decided on the Northstar a while back, but have been rethinking and considering many of the ones mentioned above.
