I cleaned the glass a few days ago and it was perfect. Came home tonight and noticed a small crack, probably 1.25 inches, in the lower right corner of the glass well below the top of the andiron. Ill be trying to order a new one ASAP but certainly not the greatest considering the stove just over a year old and I am very careful about the glass/door..

Any suggestions for online ordering or is this going to be dealer only?

Yeah, BeGreen found a supplier that was relatively cheap and had a good turn-around time. I have it somewhere.

Woodmans parts plus looks like they have it in stock

Can't find the link.

Thanks, BeGreen.

The rough estimate I got from BeGreen's link was about $84 + shipping.

Between the neoceram and the pyroceram what is original for our stoves?

Looks like one day glass is closed until Jan 2nd

waltdog...I'm going thru the same quandry right now with my VC 2550, I cracked a glass awhile back and got it replaced and still was getting too much air and could'nt damper the stove down enough. I read somewhere that there's a good chance that I have a bad gasket when cracking a glass and got the courage to check the other glass and when I unscrewed the screws holding the other glass it broke also. But the gasket literally disentegated once the screws were out. I guess that I'll change the window gaskets when I change the rest of the gaskets as this is the first time they've been changed. I was going to have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks for VC to get the window and then I found this post and canceled VC and ordered from Woodsman. Thanks for this info, I'll be ordering from them when I can.

Waltdog . . . any idea of what caused the crack? While it's not unheard of, typically it is the result of shutting the door too hard and having a split impact it . . . which doesn't sound like the case here. You might also want to report this to the store that you bought the stove . . .

Call around to local glass shops and see if they carry ceramic glass. Pyroceram, neoceram, robax are some common brands.

Thanks again for everyone's suggestions. The dealer I bought my stove from sold me a new glass out of a stove on the showroom floor.
