Yeah, BeGreen found a supplier that was relatively cheap and had a good turn-around time. I have it somewhere.

A good deal is a luxury. If this were summer, I would tell you to look around as I think you could do better.

But, I'm not sure. If I were you, I would send BeGreen a private message and see if he still has that link to the company the produces stove "glass." I could have sworn it was cheaper than the link you posted.

waltdog...I'm going thru the same quandry right now with my VC 2550, I cracked a glass awhile back and got it replaced and still was getting too much air and could'nt damper the stove down enough. I read somewhere that there's a good chance that I have a bad gasket when cracking a glass and got the courage to check the other glass and when I unscrewed the screws holding the other glass it broke also. But the gasket literally disentegated once the screws were out. I guess that I'll change the window gaskets when I change the rest of the gaskets as this is the first time they've been changed. I was going to have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks for VC to get the window and then I found this post and canceled VC and ordered from Woodsman. Thanks for this info, I'll be ordering from them when I can.

Waltdog . . . any idea of what caused the crack? While it's not unheard of, typically it is the result of shutting the door too hard and having a split impact it . . . which doesn't sound like the case here. You might also want to report this to the store that you bought the stove . . .

Mine were from failing window gaskets.
