I have a one year old 10 cpm I bought from AM/fM energy. It is a refurbished model. I keep the stove very clean with tips from this forum. This week after burning for a few hours the stove shut off and i had a burn grate full of unburnt pellets. Has happened five times now. I am burning green supremes from HD. Burning on setting 5, bottom numbers are 3 5 1. Used Stove Chow last year with no problems...4 ton... please help

Change settings back to 1-4-1. Also check to see that u are in pellet mode and not corn.

Also check the oak screen outside. She needs air.

When the stove shut off, did an error code show up? Typically, a burn pot with unburned pellets indicates a lack of airflow (dirty stove).

Please describe your weekly, after 1 ton, and yearly cleaning procedure.

Every three to four days vacuum stove and clean glass. After one ton i take apart inside of stove, take out and brush burn pot, brush holes inside at the top, then use the mallet to loosen ash stuck in back. Next I separate stack and brush and vacuum it out..flame seems very vibrant, not sluggish. Like the Whitfield i used to own it ebbs and flows on pellet delivery..sometimes none drop, sometimes a few, and sometimes a lot...figured it was a function of the auger feed. Dont know if that has an effect on it.

Possible pellet bridge in the hopper? Green Supreme are NOT a great pellet, but I don't think that's the issue, besides giving poor heat.

Might want to remove auger motor & auger and check up inside the auger tunnel, and the auger. Make sure auger motor connections are tight.

I think that could be the trouble, just watched the stove and it stopped feeding pellets for nearly a minute. had only a small amount of coals with no flame. I threw some pellets in and it picked back up. Worked for a couple of minutes and did it again...nothing fell down the chute for at least a minute. opened and closed lid, wondering if the switch was faulty, and moved pellets around the hopper too. seems like auger trouble of some sort. The pellets don't seem too long to cause a jam, but who knows

A plugged vacuum line will stop the auger. Make sure the little hole on the right side of the firebox is clear (use an unbent paper clip or toothpick), and check the whole tube when the stove is off. Another thing to try is to jump (bypass) the vacuum switch by connecting the leads together.

Took apart the stove again. The vacuum hole was clean, but i removed it and blew through it, and made sure the hole from the firebox was clear. Restarted stove and it fed pellets really well on start up. Then after about a half hour it was out again...with the burn grate full of pellets. It seems to me the auger stops working correctly after its warming up... frustrated, could something be wrong with controller?

Mike Holton called me and we bypassed the vacuum switch, stove still running...Englander customer service is great. Thanks to all who replied.

Still having trouble with stove staying lit. Had the call with Mike Holton, and we bypassed the vacuum switch. The stove worked for a while and stopped running again, leaving the burn grate full of unburnt pellets. I have been PMing him and he is very fast to get back to you. I tried it again this morning and it only ran for an hour and a half before crapping out again...sigh

its a gap in feed not a stoppage altogether. makes me wonder if we have somthing in the feed tube, when you next check the stove before starting , use a mirror and flashlight (bounce the light off the mirror up the drop chute from the front to look up the drop chute make sure there is noting up there but steel. you should not see pellets up there at all.

looked up chute with a mirror and saw the end of the auger and some pellets a round the outside looking ready to drop. I started the stove up and it started up fine, dropping pellets at a normal rate. then the start up blower shut off and it did not feed pellets for about 6 or 7 minutes. I was opening the door to throw some pellets in. That kept the stove going until a few minutes later the auger started working. Has been running normally for about 10 minutes now....monitoring the stove now

I am still having an issue keeping this stove running. The auger works intermittently..stopping sometimes after an hour, sometimes two or three or more. The stove slowly goes out and the auger will start working again filling the burn grate with unburnt pellets. Stumped.
