I don't see a 1-blink status listed in my manual. It went out on me yesterday and that's what I got. It fired right back up, but this morning I see I have 1 blink again. All looks well (just cleaned thoroughly Wed.), pellets dropping, seals good, etc. Anybody else ever see this?

Hello , I have a Breckwell Big E also, my owners Manual doesn't have anything on a #1 blinking either, are you sure it is a #1 and not a #2? How are you running it ? High /Low , On /Off with a Stat? Or just on manual? Mine will go out and turn off on the lowest setting [ High/Low], damper open too far, Eric from Kinsman stoves is a real good guy,and a regular on this forum, and is good at diagnosing Breckwell problems, let us know what you find out.

Having seen the three blank status before, this is a one blink. I've got it set up per book for using a thermostat - bought it and started using it first part of Nov. and had to redo the seals about a week later, but it's been running fine since.

Well, I turned it back on this morning and it's still running. I asked my wife to check it mid-day - she said it had a hearty flame (good pellets)...so I don't know what it's issue is/was. I'll check it again in awhile. Happy New Year to everyone.

check the toggle switch is it in manual (with no thermostat).

It is in High/Low mode with the thermostat hooked up. I have thermostat set to 65 and it's never gotten that warm as it is 1500 sq. ft. quonset style. I did double-check to make sure the wires on thermostat are still connected to control unit...and maybe the thermostat is malfunctioning. I had a similar situation happen on a Harman pf-100 pellet furnace once and problem went away when when I changed out the thermostat.

Switch it to manual and see how she runs.
