I had my only chance to score somersets in 2007, my first year with stove. I went for freedom fuel because I liked the bag better...

Wowsers. Ouch. So sorry for your decision. Best and worst pellets I've ever burnt mention in the same paragraph.

Sorry for the multiple pics. Works from my iphoneimage.jpg
Also a pic of my stove

Nice score!,... now be a good pellet pig and tell all your friends where you got them! :)

..oh,.. and your stove?,.. its a Harmon,.. not a Herman

Chevy Great stove and great pellets! Now correct the spelling of the "Herman XXV" in your post. A stove of that quality commands the respect of propper spelling of its name. :)

My guess for central PA would be the lowes in Lebanon since you live in Hershey. Ive pulled some out of there and its the only lowes i have seen them at. Its nice to see some central PA guys here. For a while i thought i was the only one.

Lowes in Palmyra Pa. Nobody wants to buy Somersets or Green Teams. They all want the Cheat Rivers.

Now I might have go buy another ton since I released my secret.

Your safe im all good with my stash. I actually perfer Turman over somerset. Both burn super clean with awesome heat but i think it a bag of Turman burns a little longer.

There a place in Palmyra that sells Truman's for 250 a ton. Just haven't tried them yet.

I agree...But, $209/ton vs $300/ton....Hell man, I'm the most "pro-Turman" guy around. But "Sets" for $209 is getting your cake AND eating it too.

When I first got my stove I was burning O'Malleys, they are okay but not worth how much they are charging for them. Than I started trying out other brands and Green Teams burned cleaned and threw out good heat. Hopefully all the raves I been reading about Somersets are true.

Here in PA we can get turman for quite a bit under 300 but 209 for Somersets is awesome. I bought a bunch of it earlier this year at lowes prices and i was more than happy.

Summersets seem to be hard to find in Maine, I've been looking for a place that has them so I can try a few bags, but can't. Anyone know where in the lower part of Maine I can get these ? I live in Portland if that helps. I got some Cubex and also some Vermonts to try out today as I've not had these yet.
